Baby For a Little Longer
My baby loves to think that he s ready for big boy training pants. But mommy isn t so sure. Baby still can t remember to tell me he has to go potty when he s busy playing. The other day he was playing outside and I caught him trying to water mommy s rose bushes. That almost earned him a spanking. And then yesterday he made a very stinking mess in his training pants. So he is back in day time diapers for a little while longer. Mommy put away all his training pants. Now of course he didn t like this at all, and he through quite the temper tantrum, but mommy just put the diaper on him, and put him down for a nap.
Mommy knows that while he wants to be a big boy, part of him just isn t ready to grow up yet. Part of him needs mommy s caresses and closeness that being a baby entails. And mommy needs that too. She isn t ready for her little boy to grow up. She loves diapering and powdering and breastfeeding him. So my little boy is going to be a little boy a while longer.
